Kavitha Muthukrishnan

I am a final year PhD student of Pervasive Systems Group at University of Twente . I received my MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from

University of Twente in 2004. My research interests are in the area of Ubiquitous Computing and Context Awareness. I am particularly

 interested in localisation algorithms that can combine different types  of heterogenous data to have improved performance and in

 auto-calibration algorithms. My PhD supervisor is Dr.Paul Havinga. I am funded by Smart Surroundings project.

I have been a visiting student (November 2007- February 2008) in Embedded Interactive Systems group at Lancaster University, 

where I collaborated with Prof. Hans Gellersen and Dr.Mike Hazas. At Lancaster, I was involved with the Relate project which develops

relative positioning technologies for emergency response scenarios.
